17 Supreme Shine Lipstick Review 'Rich'
Hello! =)
With winter on its way I thought it might be nice to pick up a colour that's more suited to this season~ I don't usually wear darker colours but this is nice. One thing I'm not too keen on is the packaging, for some bizarre reason it just kind of bugs me =S Anyhooos, enough rambling!
It looks quite dark in its bullet form (whether I am using the right terminology in the right context I do not know~ apologies if I'm totally killing it) but when applied on the lips it's actually a lot lighter. It is a deep plummy pinky colour which would look good on all skin tones. What I like to do is tint my lips with it for during the day by just patting it onto my lips and then if I am wearing it in the evening I'd apply it normally. Don't forget to blot because you can very easily go OTT with dark colours.
The formula is very nice, it's moisturising and has a shiny finish- just as you would expect from a lipstick from a range named 'Supreme Shine'. The lasting power is just okay but I do drink water a lot throughout the day and I am constantly re-applying lip balm even when I have lipstick on. Doh! Which then obviously rubs off some of the colour...silly me.
I believe this lipstick costs no more than £5 from Boots, can't really go wrong. I always get compliments when I wear this colour :) Go check it out, it would definitely make a lovely present/stocking filler for this time of the year.
