Lush Review - Porridge Soap

Almost-winter greetings!
Porridge soap is one of my favourites from Lush. It's one of their cheapest soaps, smells great and feels great.
There is oatmilk in it that makes it super moisturising for your skin and it lathers up so nicely- the lather is creamy and leaves your skin smelling yummy, feeling smooth and clean. There are actual bits of oats in it which act as a gentle exfoliant which is think is just fab! The only not-so-good thing about this is that the little bits just end up collection at the plug hole and is a nightmare to clean. It annoys me but hey, I'm willing to pay the price for a nice soap. (I must say, the bits of oats tangled with long hair being fished out the plug s truly GROSS.)
When I return home with a chunk of lush soap, I like to cut up the big chunk into smaller pieces so each time I go shower and feel like using the soap I grab a piece. That way the whole chunk doesn't need to sit in the shower and melt away. That would be such a waste! Use a sharp knife and dip it into hot water first if you need to as it will melt the soap a little and cut easier. Then wrap your pieces in clingfilm :) just keep them away from moisture, heat and air and they should keep well.
Cheers for staying awake and reading :) Wrap up warm! xx
