May '14 Glossybox
How are ya? So...I didn't review my April Glossybox. Why? I was so disappointed with it I couldn't bring myself to photograph anything.
For the month of May, Glossybox did this collaboration with Superdrug to celebrate 50 years of Superdrug I guess. All in all, I was a bit disappointed with the box. I mean, great there were 5 full size products but they were really average products I can very easily find at drugstores...HECK even at my local supermarket. I'd rather get fewer items from more not so everyday brands.
Shimmery lip glosses in tubes like this reminds me of kiddie make up. I'll be giving this to someone else.
As we know by now, my lashes don't like non-waterproof mascaras. So immediately this was a no-no. I did think the brush was cool but the packaging looks and feels cheap. The formula of the mascara also looked kind of dry.
I despise nail caviar. I think it's a complete gimmick and I am not a fan of the brand 2True either so this was a dud product for me :( I opened it for a closer inspection and somehow (I don't for the life of me know HOW) those darn beads got caught between the screw and the neck so it was a horrible task trying to screw the cap back on.
I seldom put my hair up in buns but I think this will be fun to play around with and master the art of bun creating to wear in the summer months. Thank goodness for YouTube tutorials.
The products I haven't pictured here will have their own separate reviews at some point! :) I know I usually put the prices etc and descriptions but these don't deserve my time. I sound like such a horrid person but I'm just picky... All in all the only good things really, were the BB Cream and the perfume sample.
