Rimmel London Vinyl Jelly Gloss Lip Liners Review

Greetings again :) I'm going to jump straight into this post by firstly apologising for the cr*ppy quality of these snaps. These pencils were notoriously difficult to photograph because the writing on them is in that shint print where light just reflects of it like crazy...grr.

Anyway, I popped into Poundland to pick up some tissues and spotted these Rimmel London Vinyl Jelly lip liners. I know many people are wary to pick up cosmetics from pound stores etc but these seemed pretty legit to me. And for £1 a pack- containing 2 pencils in each pack- I couldn't resist. The colours looked pretty too.

These liners are VERY soft. They have a gel-like consistency/texure which makes application very easy, but don't press too hard otherwise you'll do some damage to the tip. I actually had an accident with one of them. The lid was really stiff so as I yanked it off but mid-yank it decapitated the nib of the pencil :( But I re-sharpened so all is well again!

Top to bottom: Hot Spark, Succulent, Starlet, Moreish

Descriptions of the colours:
Moreish- a light shimmery pink with a slight frost
Starlet- a darkish nude pink
Succulent- a bright strawberry red
Hot Spark- a deep berry colour (and my favourite =D)

I personally think they give a very nice tint to the lips. They're quite odd as they are a cross between a lip liner, a gloss and a lipstick. It's quite random but I like these, very handy to throw in the handbag or makeup bag and they take up a lot less space than many lip products. Not a shabby find I'd say :)

Thanks for stopping by! xx
