Favourite Cereal/Breakfast Biscuits
Some people may very well argue that biscuits and cereal bars are not a sufficient breakfast or substitute for breakfast. They can be too sugary but know you what? That doesn't bother me at all when I'm in a rush, need to eat something on the go or when I am not hungry in the morning and can only manage something small. I have been loving these two oaty biscuits for snacking on and for breakfast.
I've tried the crunchy oats (too salty), the nutty one with nuts and chocolate chips in them, the cranberry ones and the milk and cereals belvitas but as you can probably tell, the milk and cereals is my favourite! I even have it photographed so clearly I must think these are the bees knees. When I go to work, these are a godsend. I need to wake up really early and I am not usually hungry when I wake up really early but I find eating just one biscuit with a banana gives me energy to last a bit of the morning till my tea break. Then I have another one or two...and so forth till they've been all munched up! They have not dried bits of fruit or bits of chocolate that melt and have a perfect crumble. Not too crumbly but they won't break your teeth either. Just delicious!
My boyfriend likes to take a packet to the gym- apparently they're great to have on hand.
These Nature Valley ones can be quite sweet. They come in lots of different flavours such as maple syrup, crunchy oats or with chocolate chips etc. I had never tried the cinnamon ones before and I was excited to taste these (maybe a little too excited). These are sooooo yummy with the perfect amount of cinnamon. I like to have a pack of these in my handbag so if I'm needing something to eat desperately when I'm on the go, they are at hand to satisfy a hungry tummy.
Both of these brands can be found in leading supermarkets, corner shops....they're kind of everywhere at the moment. A bit too much excitement over cereal bars?
