smashbox - O-GLOW

This is SO cool. I think it is anyway... I think this is a great take on alternatives to your usual powder or cream blushes. It's unique and ever so fun!

When you first squeeze the product out (I'd say a pea size amount is more than enough), it's a clear and face primer-esque consistency, It's very velvety and smooth just like a primer. You then apply this evenly to your cheeks and blend. After a while, what was clear blob, is now a beautiful flush of pink that leaves you looking like you've been running through the park on a frosty morning. It's meant to turn into the colour that you blush naturally but to be honest, my friends and I have decided it's more or less the same kind of pink. Still, the idea is fun! 

You might think the colour is a bit too over the top and looking like you've been too heavy-handed with the blusher but don't worry, the colour really does blend in nicely to leave a natural flush. 

Check it out here on the smashbox website - it's £21 which is a little pricey for a blusher but because this will change to complement your skin, I guess you don't need to worry too much about getting darker or paler in the summer and winter as it will still look great. I feel this is a very versatile colour that would suit every skin tone.
