Mini Reviews from the Clinique Spring Complementary Gift
You probably recognise the recycled picture below from my quick view of what was in the Clinique free gift with purchase. I've tried everything out and here's the little summaries of the products like I promised.
1) Clinique Superbalm Moisturising Gloss: 02 Raspberry
This is the perfect sample size to throw in the handbag. I'm not a big wearer of lip gloss but this is nice if you want to add a bit of shine to your lips or spice up a more boring lipstick by adding some dimension. It feels moisturising, isn't too sticky and doesn't really smell of anything. It's hard for me to compare since I don't use many glosses but all in all, this is nice and leaves a hint of raspberry pink on the lips.
2) Clinique: Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser
Firstly, this is a great sample size (30ml) I used it all through my one week holiday and I still have about half a tube to keep on using. This makes me very happy because I LOVE this. This cleanser feels great lathered onto the skin and leaves your skin feeling so supple and clean. I will definitely be purchasing the full size once this is all used up! I have sensitive skin and this didn't bother me at all- I highly recommend you check this out.
3) Clinique: All About Eyes eyecream
I love trying different eyecreams. This was another winner for me and I will me purchasing the full size after too. Again, it's a very generous sample size, but even more so for an eyecream because you really don't need much of it. It sinks into the eye area like a dream. No greasiness, no feeling clogged up, just leaves your under eyes feeling refreshingly moisturised. This didn't irritate my sensitive eye area so if you're wary about trying eye creams, this is a nice gentle one that really works wonders.
There has been much hype around Clinique's gel/lotion moisturisers and I can see why. It does everything a good lotion should do. It leaves your skin hydrated, it's not sticky or heavy and feels lovely once applied.
5) Clinique: Even Better makeup SPF 15- 04 cream chamois
I mixed this in with my BB cream I usually use to add a bit of glow and colour to my face. Works even better now I'm a bit tanned from my time away. There's not much to say...it's nice, but not amazing. It gave me a very natural colour but I wouldn't use this on its own as I think it would be just a tad too dark.
5) Clinique: High Impact Mascara- 01 black
I have tried this before in the past and because it's not waterproof, isn't the best-working mascara for me but it does lengthen and thicken the lashes nicely
Hope you enjoyed :)
