Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Late on the bandwagon again, but you know what they say: better late than never! I never really understood what could be so good about paying quite a bit of money to spray water on your face- then I tried it and all was good. Obviously I know Caudalie Beauty Elixir is not just a plain ol' bottle of water.
I love using this after I have applied my makeup as I feel it does help to set my makeup. You could use this on clean skin before you go to bed or just to refresh your face throughout the day with it. It really does feel lovely as it gives a cooling sensation- the type that you would get with a minty/witchhazely facewash. It feels especially amazing on a hot, sweaty day!
Obviously it does more than refresh the face. Caudalie describes it like so:

Obviously it does more than refresh the face. Caudalie describes it like so:
"Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s elixir of youth, this powerful plant based anti-dull complexion treatment smooths away fine lines, tightens pores and gives the complexion a real boost of radiance. A Caudalie cult product favoured by make-up artists, beauty addicts and celebrities, the elixir also works wonderfully to help set make-up.
Shake before use. Avoid the eyes. Spray onto the face before your moisturiser and at any time of the day"
There are two sizes that you can get:
One is a cutesy 30ml bottle which you can pop in your makeup bag or handbag for quick spritzes to refresh your face and the other is 100ml.
I found the 30ml bottle here on the feelunique website for £10.35. Other wise it can be purchased from the Caudalie website here- £11.50 for 30ml and £32.00 for 100ml.
I got mine from a Space NK store for £11.50 so if you want to try it out first or ask instore about it, I would try Space NK or even Boots might stock it- it's worth having a look.7
