Dirty - Toothy Tabs

This product is new-ish, I bought this a few weeks ago but haven't really used it that much. I think I've probably used about 5 tabs just for the sake of giving my view on them. The Toothy Tabs come in a match box-like box that you push on one end to access the inards. The box is fully recyclable obviously, we wouldn't expect any less from Lush would we? =P It's the perfect handbag size and good for travelling.

They smell really really nice :) I haven't actually smelled 'Gorilla Perfume' but if it smells like the tabs then the perfume may have a new admirer. They smell like spearmint, really fresh with a slight herby medicinal smell (I am truly awful at describing scents, apologies!).

But...

Sorry Lush, they taste vile >_< ! It feels like crunching up little pieces of chalk that taste of perfume. I was expecting them to taste minty like their smell but boy was I wrong. Not at all pleasant but I persevered and carried on, thinking that I would get used to the taste. I didn't by the way, even after the next 4 times I used it.

The box provides directions but it's just like using toothpaste except you chew up the tab before brushing. It foams a little and it does leave your mouth feeling fresh but leaves a very undesirable aftertaste. Not impressed =/ They aren't expensive at about £2 a pop but I'd stick with toothpaste.

Sorry Lush but Toothy Tabs only get a 3/10.
