Review: Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends
Ever since Herbal Essences have come out with new packaging and new scents for their products I have been nothing less than captivated by it all. I've used many of their shampoos and have tried their Intensive Hair Masks (which are my absolute favourites, they make your hair so soft and smell absolutely gorgeous. Let me know if you'd like a post on them).
The bottle is very pretty and exactly what you would expect from the brand. The pump is more convinient that if it was a squeezy bottle because if you want to get more product, you won't get the cream onto the bottle and make it sticky.
This protection cream smells absolutely divine! It is their red raspberry & silk extract scent however I find that it differs a little from the shampoo because the smell seems to be more concentrated and smells very strongly of hair that has just been freshly washed. I know that sounds kind of strange but it just smells very clean and just pretty. I know a scent can't literally smell 'pretty' but you know :)
I like to use two pumps and apply as directed: "Lavish me through to your tips...on towel-dried or dry hair."
The texture is a little bit weird when you first apply if to your hair. It's almost sticky due to it being quite a thick consistency but I found that once it has kind dried and had time to sink into my hair it does make your hair feel nice, not to mention smelling really good too! There is nothing that can 'heal' split ends - the only solution is to get your hair trimmed to get rid of them but if you have tired looking ends that look like they need a little lift, try this out (: I rarely expose my hair to heated appliances and I always let my hair dry naturally but even using this has made the tips of my hair feel and look just that bit nicer~
Overall verdict: smells great and works pretty well considering the ends of my hair feel alot healthier. 7/10
