Review: Collection 2000

Collection 2000 is a brand exclusive to Superdrug I believe so I am not sure where else you can get this. After seeing Fleur de Force (who is a YouTuber and blogger - go check her out, she's amazing :D) I decided to give it a try seeing as I was due to buy a new mascara anyways.

I'll not to any dilly-dallying and just get straight to the point. The applicator is your usual brush bristled wand and it is massive. Some people may like but I personally find a bit too clumsily stout. If it had some sort of a more unique shape whilst still being a big brush I think I'd like it more. I find the mascara itself very dry (cue my annoyingly stubborn eyelashes) and although waterproof, it doesn't really hold the curl of my lashes. Saying that, just because it doesn't work for me it doesn't mean it won't work for you :) People have said good things about this.

Big Fake Lashes - Collection 2000
It is priced at £4.99 I believe which isn't bad for a waterproof mascara but I would happily pay a bit extra for one of better quality and reputation.

Okaaay, next is the waterproof liquid eyeliner. This product from the collection is better =)
For a drugstore eyeliner which is only £2.99 I think's it's pretty good. The applicator is one of those very stiff felt ones~ no doubt it would be agony if you were to poke yourself in the eye by accident with it but I have not done that so far (touch wood)!

Fast Stroke waterproof liquid eyeliner - Collection 2000
I like this because it is simply what it says on the bottle. I wore this everyday when I was in Spain 2 years ago and it was my best friend (: The consistency is not too watery or thick and the application is smooth. It also doesn't flake which is definitely a good thing =P !!! I'd reccomend this as a holiday makeup item worth trying. You can't go wrong~ even if you don't like it, it's not going to break your bank xD

Do you have holiday staples? x
