Bellapierre Cosmetics Eyeshadow- SP040 Sunset

Ello, ello!

I'd never heard of bellapierre cosmetics before so I was rather intrigued by this- especially the colour. On the Glossybox information card, it described this as eyeshadow but also listing other things this product can be used for.

First of all, for £12.99, it's more expensive than your usual shimmer powders from the drugstore but what's different about this is that, because of the colour, you can mix this into lips colours, blush, eyeshadows etc or just use it as eyeshadow on its own. (That's what the Glossybox suggested anyway!) I have yet to try this mixed with a lip or blush colour but I'll definitely give it a whirl.

I reckon mixing a bit of this with some Vaseline (petroleum jelly) will result in a lovely coral, shimmery concoction.

The shade is seriously beautiful and the name 'Sunset' is absolutely perfect for it. It's a vibrant and warm corally orange with shimmer through it.
I know that for some people it might be a bit much to use on its own as eyeshadow but that's why it's rather nifty to be able to use it for other things.

I found that a nice way to incorporate this into your eyemake up is to take a tiny amount and blend it into the crease with a little brown shadow to deepen it right on the out edges of the crease, it looks like a more coppery colour which is easier to wear.

The price of bellepierre products are definitely not drugstore. It is more expensive and I can't say whether it's worth it or not because I've not tried anything else but their other products do look nice.
You can purchase Sunset here for £12.99 and you can check out their other stuff too.
