Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish- Raspberry Rhapsody 956

This was one of my favourite items from this month's Glossybox! And my first time trying a Sleek product!

The packaging is nice and compact, the pan has a slightly bigger surface area rather than being deeper- which I like rather a lot. It makes for easier swirling around in the pan. It's very lightweight too and I've been carrying this around in my coat pocket.

The only thing I don't like is the screw lid...it's a bit fiddly due to its shallower pan. Though that might just be me being pernickety. But I do find that after application your fingers are a little sticky and that makes it even more annoying trying the screw the lid back on.

At first when I saw the colour I thought "woah there, that's rather bold" but actually, as you can see from the swatch below that what you get is actually a sheer tint of colour. This in particular is a gorgeous almost magenta-y colour and looks lovely on the lips. It's one of those lip products that you can sheer out or build up.

The consistency is super smooth but slightly sticky, so if you don't like getting sticky fingers after applying lip stuff then either use a lip brush or maybe avoid this product altogether. I find though that because of its stickiness it lasts longer and feels like its protecting my lips from drying out. Though in saying that, the stickiness does give me so much grief on a windy day.

It also has a vanilla-y, sweet scent which I don't care for but it doesn't bother me so much that I won't use it. All in all, this is a lovely product and I definitely want to check out the other colours as there are a few more.

If you're interested in this click here and be transported to Sleek's website. You can also browse their other shades of Pout Polishes which I recommend doing so if you think Raspberry Rhapsody is a bit bold for you. They have more neutral shades. I'm sure you can find this is drugstores too...I can't remember if it's Superdrug or Boots...or maybe it's both (SO not helpful).
