Ciate Paint Pot- red hot chili

Ciate is well-known for high quality polishes and the one I received in my Glossybox is no exception.

First of all, let's take a moment to appreciate how cute the packaging is... I will be seriously devastated if that little bow ever falls off.

What I love about this is the long handle which makes for very easy and quick application. Usually when I am using bold colours, I tend to get polish onto my skin and make a mess but with this handle and brush combo, I somehow avoided getting it all over my fingers! The longer handle gives you good control for application.

'red hot chili' is a bright orange-toned red. It's like orange and red mixed together which makes this the perfect colour for summer. I don't usually go for orange-y toned polish and to be fair, it's not a shade I have fallen in love with but when summer comes, and I feel like having super bright orange-red nails, I will definitely use this.

In the photo below, I only put on one coat and as you can see, it is very much opaque. It dried quite quickly too! The formula and application is so lovely that I have high hopes for any other Paint Pot colours that I try. If they all apply and wear the same as this, then I am very impressed.

Ciate polishes are admittedly on the pricier side, but sometimes "you pay for what you get" really does apply- and it does so right here.

If you struggle to find polishes that have a good quality formula, then give a Ciate Paint Pot a try. Shop here at ciate.co.uk, there are tons more colours to choose from!
