Sally Hansen- Mega Shine Top Coat
Apologies for the blurry picture *slaps back of hand*
Sally Hansen is well-known for being, well...really good! I had never tried any nail products from this brand before and I was looking for a new top coat. This mighty shiny packaging both blinded and drew me in. If the packaging is that shiny, surely the inside must be just as good!
I am clumsy and quite rough with my hands. Sometimes I wonder, 'Why bother painting your nails?!' You are advised by the packaging to apply a thick coat over your nail colour to give a mega shiny and almost gel-like effect. This does what it says on the box and I was pretty pleased with the results. It left my nails very shiny indeed. It takes a good few minutes to dry but only because you are applying quite a thick coat. I find that this smells kind of funny........it has a kind of weird 'sweet' smell mixed with the usual nail polish smell. It's not particularly pleasant but bearable.
I believe this is usually around the £7 or £8 mark, I picked mine up from TKMaxx for £2.99 (bargain!). I think the price will vary depending on where you get it. I'd say this is a tad pricey for what it is, but it's definitely not a waste of money.
Au revoir! xx
