Caudalie- Grape Water

Happy Valentine's Day! ;)

This post doesn't actually have anything to do with Valentine's Day...though this would have made a nice Valentine's Day gift...oh well, an idea for next year perhaps! 

You may or may not remember the post I wrote about the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, which if you haven't checked it out, click here if you'd like to read it. This grape water is of a similiar idea to the beauty elixir where it is essentially like a water facial spray for your face (and obviously it's not just water!) 

The packaging of this is bulkier than the Beauty Elixir but it is much lighter. Apparently this grape water has less chemical-y ingredients and is more natural. I find that this seems less medicated, much lighter, refreshing and much less potent than the Beauty Elixir. I don't know if one is better than the other in terms of ingredients and to be honest, I'm not to concerned because I like them both and they both make my skin feel happy. 

I wouldn't say that this smells likes grapes...it has an unoffensive, slightly fresh and natural fragrance to it. I use this morning and night- in the morning I will give my face a light spray to set my makeup and if I feel like my skin needs more hydration then I will also use it before I put my moisturisers in the evening.

You know how you can buy aerosol cans of basically just water? Ones that people like to take on holiday to spray on their faces to cool them down? I suppose this is the same kind of idea but with some beauty benefits to it. I would definitely take this on holiday with me- it's so refreshing, light and sinks into the skin quickly. I have sensitive skin and this does not irritate it in the slightest- my skin practically thanks me for this and I highly recommend it for both guys and girls. I might even go as far to say I like this better than the beauty elixir!

Products like this are great unisex products. If there is a man in your life who is too proud to use creams and moisturisers, tell them to give this a whirl. There's a bit more of a novelty side to this with the aerosol and they don't have to get their fingers covered in cream. I wouldn't use this in place of a moisturiser but it's better than nothing when it comes to hydrating your face.

Once I use up this one, I will definitely have to repurchase in time for summer! Thanks for reading!
